Labor Day Show at Proletariat
McAllen sextet will wind down audiences from three-day weekend
Published on August 30, 2007
If youÂre a rock fan, you know thereÂs not a lot going on this weekend. But Dignan will likely satisfy all your needs at The ProletariatÂs Labor Day Show. The McAllen sextet combines the tranquility of Brit rockers such as Ed Harcourt with the heavier sound of post-hardcore groups like Braid. Songs such as ÂTheyÂre Outnumbered pair bright pianos with guitars, layered against steady beats and vocalist Andy PeñaÂs crooning and screaming. Come and see the group kick off its national tour today after HoustonÂs Buxton, Hollywood Black and Church of Philadelphia.
